
Dig 1100 - Concert in the Park
As the sun sets, the evening celebrations will open with the Dig 1100 Concert, from 5pm to 9:30pm, featuring an explosive entertainment line-up that will keep you toe-tapping well into the night! Come down and rock out to the legendary Hoodoo Gurus supported by The Break, X-Factor winner Altiyan Childs, and the free styling moves of the Justice Crew. This amazing line-up is not to be missed!
The amusement rides will continue to operate whilst the Concert in the Park program is underway, beginning at 5pm and finishing at 9:30pm, to continue to provide families with pre and during concert entertainment.

Arrive early and settle in for an early dinner from one of a number of food stalls around the venue that will be serving up a feast of favourites’ or opt to bring your own picnic and enjoy an evening of superb entertainment in the beautiful park surroundings.
This concert is bursting with stars from top to bottom so it’s no surprise that So You Think You Can Dance judge Jason Coleman is the MC on this magical night of entertainment!
Kids will love the Shrek Live show! The lovable green ogre will keep the whole family laughing and entertained in this heart-warming singing and dancing adventure!
Australia’s Got Talent winners Justice Crew are sure to impress with their amazing dance moves and their latest songs. They will also be hosting free dance workshops before the show at 5pm – 6pm, which is a not to be missed opportunity to learn some killer dance moves from the best of the best!
X-Factor winner Altiyan Childs will be performing in one of his first appearances since storming to victory in 2010! See the performance that made him a star.
Breaking the traditional boundaries of surf music, The Break are sure to reignite the fire with Midnight Oil fans bringing back the original members - drummer Rob Hirst and guitarists Martin Rotsey and Jim Moginie and adding Brian Ritchie, bass player of US band Violent Femmes.
Headlining this star-studded line-up is Australian rock icon the Hoodoo Gurus. Their inventive and exciting performances have influenced an entire generation of bands so don’t miss your chance to see them live on stage this Australia Day!
Capping off an amazing day of celebration is a firework finale extravaganza sure to delight everyone!
